The Oregon Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers serves a membership base that is spread out over 98,000 square miles. Members often drive 300 miles one way to attend the annual conference and vendor fair. Travel time and cost has been a barrier to some members who wished to participate. Our live event broadcast gave online attendees access to the speaker presentations, powerpoint slides, and event chat room.
Blaze Streaming Media brought in broadcast quality robotic cameras that were mounted discreetly in the venue. This allowed a great multi-camera experience for the online audience without the distraction of a roving camera crew for the onsite participants.
The event was marketed to the Oregon ASID membership list and LinkedIn. The keynote speaker sent out a last minute email to 400 colleagues inviting them to join in. The Oregon based event quickly grew to include online participants in Texas, Georgia, and California. The event sessions were recorded and are available for online viewing.
