CyborgCamp. Wow. A flurry of meeting new people, hearing mind popping discussions, and fine-tuning the workflow for live event production.
The live stream was a success. We had online attendees from London, Germany, Japan, UCLA, and everywhere in between. The interaction between the online audience and on-site participants started to grow as attendees connected in the event chat room. It was exciting to see fellow cyborgs start to chip in by relaying questions to the chat audience and feed questions to the presenter. We exceeded 19,000 viewer minutes. We averaged 40 to 60 people viewing online at any given time during the 8 hour broadcast.
A big thanks to Amber Case (@ambercase) for including me in the event, right after we met at the FromSideProjectToStartUP. Thanks, also, to Doc Normal (@DrNormal) for being my partner with the audio gear, setup, and shared vision.
